William Trost Richards

William Trost Richards (1833-1905) was a landscape artist associated with the Hudson River School.

    ISn't this artist the perfect lush romantic American landscape painter? More appealing the Bierstadt, I think, so lyric.

    First of all thank you so much for posting these gorgeous paintings. I love William Trost Richards. I saw his work a few years back in PA. I am curious how you determine the true color and chroma of the work. Do you make notes when you are viewing the real painting. Just curious You have done a fine job.
